London City Wedding – Bridal Hair and Makeup

Islington Assembly Hall – London City Wedding

In May Danielle from the Pro Team was on hand for Maria’s bridal hair and makeup for her city wedding.   Maria went for a pink and black polka dot dress with ruffles so her hair and makeup needed to be effortlessly cool to match.  Danielle created a textured, loose up do which wasn’t “too bridal” and for makeup they kept it natural but with emphasis on the eyes for a bit of drama.

In July Louise from the Pro Team was on hand for Georgina’s big day in South London. Louise had an incredible hair piece from her mother that she wanted to be incorporated into her hair while maintaining her own style.  To suit her contemporary, simple dress Louise kept the hair simple and elegant.

Louise sent us an email after the wedding:

“I just wanted to drop you a line to say what an amazing job Louise did on my hair and make up for my wedding day. It was absolutely perfect. I’ve attached some photos here of her brilliant work!

She was so lovely to have around on the morning of the wedding and I was so happy with how she did everything, especially with my Mum’s gold oak band which stayed put until the bitter end!
So glad I found you after so much internet and instagram trawling! :D”

Spring Kew Gardens Wedding – Bridal Hair & Makeup

In May Alice was on hand for Emily’s bridal makeup for her Kew Garden wedding. Emily went for a natural look with an emphasis on the eyes.  We love Kew Gardens as a wedding venue – there are so many different places to take pictures that no two galleries ever look the same and as the flowers change throughout the year it’s just such a magical place!

London Christmas Wedding Hair and Makeup

December wedding hair and makeup, London.

Town Hall Hotel, Bethnal Green

In early December Tori was in East London for the start of the Christmas wedding season.  We love winter weddings, particularly on bright, crisp mornings.  December is usually a very busy month full of sparkle and embellishment and Candice’s dress certainly didn’t disappoint.  For her hair we went for a classic simple bun with modern twist in plenty of texture and curls at the from the frame her face.  For makeup we went for a glowy look with a silver soft smokey eye. In the winter light you can always go a bit heavier with makeup and with an embellished dress like Candice’s it definitely requires a slightly more “glam” makeup look!

A little note from Candice “I have been meaning to message you since the wedding to say a massive THANK YOU for doing my and the girls make up!!

Absolutely loved how make up and hair turned out!! So thank you!!”

London Elopement at The Ned

Last summer I was at The Ned in London with Alexandra of The Bijou Bride for an intimate London elopement. I was on hand for Jessica’s hair and makeup. Jessica and her fiancé had flown in from the west coast, USA so we hadn’t had a chance to do a pre-wedding trial. Instead we’d had a FaceTime chat and shared Pinterest boards with each other. On the day everything came together magically.

The elegant but messy and big hair style Jessica picked suited her classic dress and alternative style perfectly.  Her makeup was natural but smokey and had red lips which picked out the deep reds in her bouquet perfectly.
